Welcome to Dynamic Coordination

My name is Alex Tecza and I would like to personally welcome you to my site, DynamicCoordination.com. I am an AmSAT certified Alexander Technique teacher and a professional ballroom dancer. My adventure with the AT (Alexander Technique) began in the early 1990’s, when I took a class offered by the Dance Department at UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign). I saw the value of this method early on as an essential addition to my dance training. It helped me find better balance, poise, coordination, and efficiency of movement. Over the years it assisted me in rehabilitation of typical dance injuries I sustained as a competitor. It saved my career several times, offering knowledge, wisdom, and ways to find a better use of my body in order to circumvent usual problems dancers (and other athletes) face during their active careers, and offered longevity, thus giving me a chance to stay active and on top of my game long after what is generally considered a “prime”.

Now, as an Alexander Technique teacher myself, I help others achieve ease, freedom of movement, better balance and coordination, and continued enjoyment of active life. Even though my personal story revolves very closely around dance, anybody can benefit greatly from the Alexander Technique. Browse through articles, videos, and other materials on this website  to get you started on the path of growth to realizing your full potential.
